What are my travel options from the airport to Vila Monte?

We recommend taxi transfer or car rental, if necessary, we will be happy to help you organize your trips. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance. You can check our location here.

  

Does the hotel provide special rates, packages, promotions or offers?

Does the hotel have rooms and areas for guests with reduced mobility?

Vila Monte - Farm House has a ""Deluxe"" room prepared for guests with reduced mobility, however there are other room categories where it will be possible to accommodate guests with reduced mobility. In the common areas we have areas for reduced mobility and, if necessary, we also have the option of hiring equipment for reduced mobility.

We recommend that you contact our reservations department to advise you on the best room for your stay.

 

Which payment methods are accepted in the hotel?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, MB Way, ATM reference and cash.

 

Do you do baptisms and weddings? What is the maximum capacity?

Yes. The maximum capacity of our restaurant is 100 people. For more details, contact events@vilamonte.com

 

Where can I rent a car?

You can either rent through our reservation office before arrival or directly at the reception upon arrival at the hotel.

 

Do you supply cots or highchairs?

To guarantee availability we ask that guests pre-order any cots or highchairs they require when booking. Requests for additional equipment once guests have arrived will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

 

Is smoking/vaping permitted?   

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the enclosed spaces inside the hotel, whatever the type of cigarette. However, smoking is allowed on the room’s balconies and in all outdoor spaces.

 

Are bedlinen and towels provided?

We provide all linen and towels for your accommodation.

 

Are there robes in the rooms?

All our rooms have bathrobes for our guests.

 

What is check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is until noon, 12pm.

 

Until what time is reception open?         

Reception is available 24hours every day.

 

Where can I store my luggage?

At reception you can find a luggage room in the case you need to store your luggage.

 

Is it possible to extend the check-out time?

You can request the extension directly at the reception, the Confirmation of late check-out will be given on the departure day and it is subject to the availability of the hotel. We really like having our guests at home, but we also like to guarantee our cleaning process and the arrival time for the next guests.

 

Are you a pet friendly? What are the terms and conditions?

Yes, only pets up to 10 kg are accepted. An additional fee of € 20 per partner will be charged and a welcome kit will be placed in the room. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact our reservations department at: reservations@vilamonte.com

 

Do I have full use of the leisure facilities at the hotel?

During your stay, you can use the 2 outdoor swimming pools (1 for adults only and 1 general), the tennis court and the gym for free. The gym is open 24 hours a day and the tennis court is subject to reservation at the reception. You can also visit our aromatic garden and pick plants for your tea.

 

What are the parking options at the hotel?

Vila Monte offers free parking for all guests.

 

Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?

We have a tesla station for electric cars at the hotel.

 

Do you have pools at the hotel? Are they heated?

Vila Monte has 3 swimming pools at the hotel. One for adults only, one general and one private for guests of Villa Indigo.

 

Do you provide pool towels in the pool area?

Yes, we provide towels in the pool area, in the room or at the reception and it is a free service for all our guests.

 

Is there a safe in the room?

All rooms are equipped with a safe at no extra cost. We also have a hard safe for objects of high value, for more information speak to the reception.

 

Do you have a fitness center? If so, what kind of equipment does it have?

We have a gym equipped with 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 stationary bikes, 1 kinesis, 1 wall bars, yoga balls and mats and a selection of free weights. All machines have TV, personalized programs and other diverse functions. PT service is available upon reservation.

 

Which hotel services non-residents can have?

Our restaurant and wellness services are available all year round for non-residents guests upon reservation.

 

How far is the beach?

The nearest beach is Praia da Fuzeta, 8 km from Vila Monte. If you wish, we have a shuttle service, vehicle and boat, customized for customers. You can check our beach service  here.

Do you have a Spa? Turkish bath or hamman?

We do not have a Spa itself, but an exclusive room only for treatments and massages in addition to outdoor spaces such as gardens and terraces throughout the property. We have a wide range of treatment options to suit you, see our brochure here.

 

Do you provide adapters?

Yes, adapters are available at the reception subject to availability. You can also leave your equipment at the reception, to be charged if adapters are not available. The rooms also have an adapted outlet.

 

What is the breakfast price, in case it is not included in the room rate? 

Most of our room rates already include breakfast, however, should you wish to purchase, upon arrival, breakfast alone, the price is 25€ per adult.

 

Do you have free internet in the hotel?

Our guests have free access to Wi-Fi throughout the property. Download speeds are 50Mbps and 30Mbps upload.

 

What are the dining options in the hotel?

Do you have vegan, gluten free and dairy-free options?

Yes, we want you to feel at home and safe, so we have that options in our menu and our chef will be delighted to make your gastronomic stay even more special and personalized on request. All special requests must be made with 48 hours in advance and are upon availability.

 

Do you have laundry and ironing service?

Iron and ironing boards are available on request and available. We have laundry and ironing service with delivery until 48h and the price is found in the room next to the laundry bag.

Is there a shop onsite?  

We have a small shop at your disposal 24/7 with local products. You can also order your personalized picnic.

 

Do you have walking trails in the area? 

Yes. Vila Monte is in the countryside, near the Villa of Moncarapacho. You can find several walking routs around the property. For more information, please contact info@vilamonte.com

 

If the weather is bad, what can I do?

There is no rain without rainbows so for the days of "bad" weather follow our suggestions here.

 

Do you have kids club or babysitting service?     

We do not have a kids club, but we have daily activities for children with our animators. These are only available from Abril to December. The babysitting service is available all year, upon reservation and at an associated cost.

Is it necessary to book the restaurant and activities?

Yes. A large part of our experiences is with local and authentic suppliers, therefore they are subject to our suppliers avaiability and maximum number of participants. For any experience or Wellness services we request to be booked in advance. For all meals it is recommended to book to guarantee your reservation. Talk to our team and guarantee your place.

 

Do you have adults only area?  

Yes. Vila Monte has available an area with rooms/suites, swimming pool, exclusive for adults.

 

Do you have a working or computer area?

Yes. In case you need to work, we invite you to come to the lobby. A computer is also provided in case you need.

 

What can I visit in the area?

Is Vila Monte an eco-hotel?

Yes, we work at all costs to preserve nature and local sustainability.

 

What is the voltage and frequency in Portugal?

The standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.

Are taxi services available if needed?

It is relatively easy for reception to organize taxis if necessary. We ask that you request the service at least 45 minutes in advance.
